At Santa’s Cabin, children can share their Christmas wishes with Santa and Mrs. Claus, take their own family photos and receive a maple lollipop.

Along the way, families can discover some of the farm’s most unique Christmas photo opportunities, including Santa’s Airplane, a vintage 1947 Cessna 120 recently retired from the North Pole, and the Elf Mobile, used by Santa’s elves to help move toys from the workshop to the sleigh.

The Santa’s Cabin Experience also includes a complimentary tasting flight of Elliott Tree Farm maple syrup.

Dogs are welcome throughout the farm and must remain on leash.

Make a Day of It at Elliott Tree Farm

The Santa’s Cabin Experience is just one part of a Christmas visit to Elliott Tree Farm.

After finding the perfect tree, warm up with hot drinks and food inside the heated Horse Barn Canteen, gather around one of the farm’s cozy outdoor bonfires or browse the circa 1850 Heritage Gift Barn for handmade wreaths and bows, locally sourced gifts and Elliott Tree Farm’s award-winning pure Ontario maple syrup.

Visitors can also explore the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, featuring a one-of-a-kind collection of Indigenous, pioneer and early modern artifacts that preserve the history of maple syrup production in Ontario.

Elliott Tree Farm’s Golden Harvest Maple Syrup was named one of the Top 20 Best Maple Syrups in the World by TasteAtlas in 2025, giving visitors the opportunity to taste internationally recognized maple syrup right where it is produced.

With Christmas trees, Santa, festive farm attractions, maple syrup, food, shopping, bonfires and plenty of photo opportunities, a visit to Elliott Tree Farm can easily become a full family Christmas outing.

There is no general farm entrance fee or parking fee.

Visitors to Elliott Tree Farm this Christmas may recognize some familiar scenery from the screen.

The farm was featured as the Christmas tree farm location in the 2025 Netflix holiday film A Merry Little Ex-Mas, starring Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson and Jameela Jamil. Scenes were filmed throughout the property, including the Christmas tree fields, heritage buildings and countryside setting that guests experience when they visit the farm.

In the film, Elliott Tree Farm was transformed into the fictional Knotty Pines Christmas Tree Farm, making a visit to The Santa’s Cabin Experience an opportunity to step into some real holiday movie magic.

Families can walk the same paths, visit the same farm setting and create their own Christmas memories in a location seen on Netflix.
