🍁 Maple Syrup Harvest Season (Family Day to Easter Weekend 2026)
Step into peak maple season when the sap is flowing and the sugar shack is alive. Enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes topped with our award-winning Ontario maple syrup, plus Canadian bacon and maple breakfast sausage. Take a scenic walk through the sugar bush, watch maple syrup being made in real time, and enjoy maple taffy on snow. Includes access to the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario.
🌿 Maple Syrup Farm Experience (April 11 to November 8)
Offered every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 am and 12:30 pm from April 11th through November 8th. Perfect for visitors and travellers, this guided experience brings the story of maple syrup to life beyond the harvest season. Tour the sugarbush, taste our award-winning syrups, try maple taffy over ice, visit the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, and enjoy our signature waffle & ice cream sandwich while learning about the history of maple syrup in Canada.
What to Expect:
Your Maple Sugarbush Tour & Tasting is a relaxed, guided 90-minute experience designed to immerse you in the tradition of maple syrup in Canada.
Guided Sugarbush Tour (Approx. 60 Minutes)
Begin your experience with a scenic walking tour through our sugarbush trail and Christmas tree fields. Along the way, your expert guide will share how maple syrup is discovered, harvested, and produced. You’ll visit our traditional wood-fired maple sugar shack, the Gathering of the Giants (maple trees over 200 years old), and working areas of the farm.
Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario
Step inside and explore one of the most unique collections of maple history in Canada. Learn how maple syrup production has evolved from Indigenous traditions to modern-day practices.
Signature Maple Tasting Experience
Finish your visit with a full maple tasting flight including pure maple sugar, maple taffy over ice, and a variety of our award-winning Ontario maple syrup grades. You’ll also enjoy our signature Elliott Tree Farm Sandwich, a warm waffle topped with ice cream and maple syrup, served with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
Before You Arrive
Please arrive 15 minutes early. Tours begin promptly at 10:30 am or 12:30 pm and depart from the main bonfire area in front of the Heritage Barn. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.
Know Before You Go
Dress for the farm and weather conditions. Proper footwear is recommended for walking trails. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
Each Ticket Includes
Free parking, entrance to the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, a 90-minute guided tour, maple tasting flight, waffle and ice cream sandwich, and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.
On-Site Extras
Our Heritage Barn shop offers maple syrup, local gifts, and refreshments available for purchase. We accept cash, debit, and credit.
Elliott Tree Farm is open Family Day weekend through Christmas. Online shop available year-round.

Maple Sugar Bush Experience – In Partnership with North Bound Tours
On select weekends you can join a guided day trip through the heart of rural Ontario! The first stop on this tour is Elliott Tree Farms Maple Sugarbush Tour & Tasting!
The adventure continues with free time in the charming village of Elora, known for its scenic waterfalls and historic streets. Then explore the famous St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market, Canada’s largest, filled with local Mennonite vendors, fresh produce, and delicious food.
Travel in comfort aboard a 15-passenger customized van with onboard entertainment including a TV, WiFi, games console, and karaoke.
Departure: Yorkdale TTC Passenger Pick-Up (near Yorkdale Mall)

The Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario at Elliott Tree Farm is open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario is open on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 9 am to 4 pm at Elliott Tree Farm and is the gateway to the breathtaking regions of Erin, Caledon, Headwaters, and Fergus Elora. Stop in, stretch your legs, and take in the museum while shopping for small batch maple products with a cup of coffee or tea along with some of our fresh baked maple butter tarts or maple fudge. There is no entrance or parking charge, and dogs are welcome on a leash.

Our Maple Experience opens Family day long weekend on February 15, 16, 17 and runs every weekend through April 6 plus Monday, March 10 & Friday, March 14 of March break as well as April 4th (PD Day).
Our Maple Syrup Experience includes entry to the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario, all you can eat pancakes and a side of bacon and breakfast sausage with our award-winning Ontario pure maple syrup, and a walk on our sugar shack trail to our maple sugar shack to see maple syrup being made firsthand while tasting maple taffy over snow, maple sugar, sap and syrup.
