If you live in Southern Ontario and are looking for an authentic and traditional Christmas tree farm to visit this year, come join us at Elliott Tree Farm. Conveniently located at 9467 Erin East Garafraxa Townline, just west of Winston Churchill Blvd in the Town of Erin, Village of Hillsburgh, our family has been farming on this 1850 heritage farm since 1983. We are proud to be home to the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario and to offer one of the most memorable holiday experiences in the GTA.
From November 15 to December 23, we invite you to step into the magic of Christmas with freshly cut and cut-your-own trees, cozy bonfires, great food, and enchanting new photo backdrops. No reservations are required, we don’t charge an entrance fee, and dogs are welcome on a leash.
New This Year: Santa’s Cabin Experience
Exclusively for our Christmas Tree Visitors, Santa’s Cabin is open daily from 10 AM to 4 PM, November 15 to December 23. When you visit the farm to find your perfect Christmas tree, you’ll receive a special Golden Ticket keepsake. This ticket is your invitation to step into the magic of Santa’s Cabin, where families can take memorable photos, and children can drop their Christmas wishlists into Santa’s Mailbox.
The Golden Ticket is yours to keep as a festive memento of your visit—something to tuck away with your holiday treasures and bring out year after year as a reminder of your Christmas tradition at Elliott Tree Farm.
4 Special Weekends with Santa & Mrs. Claus
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Cabin from 11 AM to 3 PM on:
- November 22–23
- November 29–30
- December 6–7
- December 13–14
Capture as many photos as you like while visiting! To reach Santa’s Cabin, enjoy a beautiful 10–15 minute walk along our sugarbush trail or, on weekends (weather permitting), hop aboard the Santa Express Zoomobile for a festive ride through the farm with a stop at the Cabin.

Ride the Santa Express (Zoomobile)
Remember the Toronto Zoo Zoomobile? This holiday season it has found a new home at Elliott Tree Farm as the Santa Express. On weekends, enjoy a guided 20-minute tour through our fields of evergreens and maple sugarbush, with a special stop at Santa’s Cabin. During the week, the Santa Express is reserved for holiday group parties—making it a unique and memorable outing for businesses and organizations.
Picture-Perfect Backdrops for Your Holiday Memories
We’re known for creating Instagram-worthy moments, and this year we’ve added even more vintage and one-of-a-kind displays:
Santa’s Airplane: Santa’s acquired this Vintage Cessna 120 airplane in 1947 as a back up in the event the reindeer ever took ill. Thankfully, it was never used on Christmas eve. Recently retired from North Pole service, Santa has donated the aircraft to Elliott Tree farm for visitors to enjoy and take pictures with throughout the year.
Santa’s Elves Snowmobile (Elfmobile): This Vintage Yamaha Snowmobile known as the “Elfmobile” was given to the elves by Santa to help move toys from the workshop to his sleigh during snowy conditions.
Vintage Tractors: classic farm equipment perfect for rustic Christmas photos.
Fieldstone Christmas Tree Cellar: a truly unique backdrop for family portraits.
1850 Heritage Barn & Christmas Tree Fields: timeless charm everywhere you turn.

Cozy Up at the Horse Barn Canteen
No visit is complete without a stop at the Horse Barn Canteen. Warm up with hot chocolate, locally baked sweets, or our gourmet smashburgers and fries (weekends only). New this year, we’ve added cozy maple-inspired comfort foods:
- 🧇 Waffles & Ice Cream drizzled with Elliott Tree Farm maple syrup
- 🍗 Chicken & Waffles topped with pure maple syrup
It’s the perfect way to refuel before heading back out to explore. VIEW MENU
Cozy Bonfires & Farm Trails
After picking out your tree, relax by one of our many Muskoka-chair bonfires, or stroll our farm trails, including the sugarbush trail leading to Santa’s Cabin and the Gathering of the Giants parkland, surrounded by towering 200-year-old trees.

Explore the Maple Syrup Museum of Ontario
Located inside our Heritage Barn Gift Shop, the museum celebrates Canada’s sweetest tradition. Learn how maple syrup is made, explore interactive displays, and shop local gifts, handmade wreaths, and our small-batch Elliott Tree Farm maple syrup—a perfect stocking stuffer.
A Touch of Movie Magic
Elliott Tree Farm has long been a favourite filming location. This season, we’re proud to have been featured as the Christmas tree farm in the Netflix movie “A Merry Little Ex-Mas.” When you visit, you’ll walk the same paths that Hollywood crews loved while making your own Hallmark-style memories.

The Freshest Christmas Trees in Southern Ontario
Choose from freshly cut trees in our one-of-a-kind Fieldstone Christmas Tree Cellar, or cut your own from 5–16 ft. Christmas trees. No matter your choice, you’ll find the perfect centrepiece for your holiday celebrations.
